QM20 - EARA Approved ISO 14001 Lead Assessor Course

This course is registered by the Environmental Auditors Registration Association (EARA) – an independent non-profit making organization dedicated to raising standards of professional competence in the environmental auditing and environmental management systems auditing profession.

OBJECTIVE	This course is designed to provide the participants with third-party auditor skills and techniques. At the end of this course, the participants will be able to: Understand ISO 14001 and EMAS standards Learn about current best practice and emerging trends Assess environmental impacts Analyze processes Assess environmental management systems Understand how to verify an organisation’s compliance with the standards Develop auditing and reporting skills
CONTENT	This course incorporates presentations, workshops, role play and assignments. It culminates in practical and written examinations.

DESIGNED FOR	Personnel involved in helping companies to obtain ISO 14001 certification and wish to gain an in-depth knowledge of ISO 14001. Personnel whose work is involved with auditing and assessing a quality management/ environmental management system. ISO 9000 internal/external auditors. Quality management personnel.
PRE-REQUISITES	Individuals should have previous training in, as well as a sound understanding of ISO 14001 standard and its implementation.
