Scope of Services

 

Background:

With the consent of the Secretary for Economy and Finance, CPTTM assumes the responsibility of organizing and coordinating local individuals to participate in China’s National Vocational Qualification Assessment. For this purpose, the “Macao Center for National Vocational Qualification Assessment” (“Macau Center”) has been established.

Mission:

To increase the competitiveness and capability of local individuals who have the intention to develop the Mainland China market or to strengthen their commercial ties with Mainland China.

Objective:

To publicize and promote China’s National Vocational Qualification System in Macao, as well as to coordinate and organize local dividuals of Macau to participate in National Occupational Skill Testing.

Scope of Services:

1.       To publicize and disseminate in Macao information about National Vocational Qualification Assessment and training;

2.       To provide assessment consultancy service;

3.       To carry out assessment-related tasks;

4.       To establish or recommend assessment venue in Macao that corresponds to National Qualification Assessment standards;

5.       To develop local assessment administrators and assessors;

6.       To support local institutions in organizing training courses that meet National Vocational Qualification Assessment standards;

7.       To act as an agent for sales of assessment reference books;

8.       To assist individuals of Macau to participate in assessment by:

          organizing preparatory courses for candidates;

          organizing candidates to go to the Mainland for assessment, before an assessment venue is established in Macau.

Assessment Fee:

To be paid by the candidates according to the standard established by the state (exchange rate: RMB 1 = MOP 1).

 

Incentive Program:

Holders of Macao Resident identity cards are entitled to the following incentives::

1.    Free of charge participation in exam preparatory courses (exclusive of books and materials) organized by the Macao Center, upon payment of  assessment fees;

2.    transportation and accommodation, will be arranged and paid by the Macao Center if

1)       the assessment or

2)       the preparatory course

is conducted in Mainland China.
