CPTTM has always supported talent development for the fashion industry 得獎者名單 Award Winners
of Macao by proactively organizing fashion design and production courses
and competitions. The objective is to stimulate the interest of local youths Prize Winner School

In order to nurture the potential of young people in the area of fashion design Colégio de Santa Rosa de
and production, CPTTM organized the “15th Macao Fashion Technology First Runner-up Lima – Secção Chinesa
Competition for the Youth” from 25th to 28thAugust 2015. There are two parts Best Craftsmanship
of the competition, sewing skills and creative design. During the four days
(20 hours in total) of competition, participants must use industrial equipment to
cut and sew together a dress in the style specified by the organizer as well
as creatively design another dress according the this year’s theme:
“Interstellar Party”. Before the competition, CPTTM held a training course
to teach sewing and creative design skills to all participants, helping
them to better understand the rules of the competition and get them
psychological prepared for the event.

Through this competition and training, not only can the participants learn
how to sew, they will also be able to improve their creative thinking ability.
Moreover, after participating in this competition, many young people continue to
pursue their fashion design dream by taking more fashion design courses,
including Bachelor courses, turning their hobby into career.
