“Macao Joint Fashion Performance – Mini Exhibition” was Guests of Honor
held at the Macao Fashion Gallery from 15th May to 9th Miniature Couture in the Exhibition Hall
August 2015. The exhibition was inspired by “Théâtre de
la Mode”, the miniature theatre of fashion in Paris during
1940’s, where exquisite miniature couture were on display.
Compared to regular size couture, a higher level of skill
is required to create these delicate miniature pieces.
Selection of fabric, color scheme, and details also challenge
the creativity and craftsmanship of the designers.

A total of 11 Macao designers, including well-established
designers and new talents, participated in this exhibition.
They included Kitty Ng, Fanny Lo, Chris Chan, Wang Chengwu,
Clara Brito, KC Gideon, Ana Cardoso, Isabella Choi,
San Lee, Akina Lei, and Jane Chan.

Each designer presented two designs, giving a total of 22
pieces in the exhibition. Many different elements of design
were incorporated, from elegant trendiness to playful art.
The pieces were ½-sized couture in full details. Each
designer gave their best to the show, manifesting their
personal intellectual competence and artistry in every
piece. It was a show of creativity and prowess by Macao
fashion designers to the world.
