“Savoring Macao: The Macao Heritage”: Creative Fashion Scarves and Ties of Macao

The “Painting on Silk – Macao Fashionable Scarves Design” collection, which CPTTM introduced earlier, had received much attention and positive feedback from the public.  The collection had also successfully helped to promote the cultural creative power of Macao to overseas.

In order to continue promote and support the cultural creative industries of Macao as well as to strengthen and nurture local cultural creative talents, CPTTM once again introduces a new series of creative fashion scarves and ties of Macao, titled “Savoring Macao: The Macao Heritage”. Two local fashion designers, Maecenas Ng and San Lee, are invited to design the new collection using “The Macao Heritage” as the theme.  The designs are then processed through digital fabric printing technology to produce scarves and ties with unique Macao style and charms.

Paintings on Silk

With the aim to further develop the cultural and creative industry in Macao, Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, together with Macau Association of Chinese Culture and Art, invites renowned local artists Mr. Lai Ieng and Mr. Chan Kai Chon to contribute four of their masterpieces. They were to be further processed by four local fashion designers: Esther Leong, Maecenas Ng, Jane Chan and San Lee, who transformed the scenes of the Ruins of St. Paul’s, Lou Lim Ieoc Garden, Travessa da Paixão and Sai Van into fashionable designs on scarves. In addition to the skillful techniques and essential spirits of the masterpieces, the designers, with their sense of fashion and taste, have blended art into life.
