“Macao Fashion Festival 2025”, the annual gala event of the fashion industry, will be held from 22nd to 25th October. Designers and brands from many Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao Greater Bay Area cities will gather at the event. Through this fashion festival, Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM) and Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) hope to showcase Macao’s original-designed fashion clothing and accessories to the outside world. The event also aims to exhibit Macao’s fashion power to society and the world, improve awareness for designers, and create more business opportunities for the brands.

“Macao Fashion Festival 2025” and the “30th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair (MIF)” will be held at the same time at The Venetian Macao – Florence Metting Room. “Fashion Voyage” is the theme of this year’s fashion festival. The festival aims to showcase Macao’s original design brands on the festival’s stage. This platform allows the public to truly appreciate the cultural heritage and stories embodied within each brand.

In order to better promote the fashion festival to the outside world, there will be online live broadcasts during the event. Global audiences can use live broadcast mini program to watch the wonderful contents of the four-day event. They can also review highlights of the fashion festival anytime and anywhere. It is an effort to enhance promotion effectiveness and audience engagement, helping to increase exposure and business opportunities for participating brands.

The four-day Macao Fashion Festival will feature eight professional fashion shows. The event’s opening day will commence with a grand ceremony, using robotic technology elements as the foundation, combined with the creations of six emerging fashion artisans from Macau, collaboratively crafting a fashion collection full of creativity and innovation. Followed by the “Style • Encounter Moment” Fashion Parade of the Subsidy Program for Fashion Design on Sample Making, presenting the latest collections from seven local designers and officially kicking off Macao Fashion Festival 2025. Over the next three days, the festival will continue with the “Greater Bay Area Fashion Parade,” where six outstanding designers from Macao, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou will jointly present a fresh and vibrant fashion feast. The “Crafting Dream：CPTTM Fashion Parade of Emerging Designers” will exhibit collaborative clothing from the CPTTM fashion incubation project MaConsef, as well as a series of works by Macao’s WorldSkills fashion contestants, demonstrating CPTTM achievements in fashion brand incubation and technical training. Also, exciting performances by the Macao Floral Designers Association, the Macao Fashion Designers Association, and various apparel brands will also be featured.

In addition to the fashion shows, the Fashion Festival features the “Innovative Fashion: Robots-Driven Future Sharing” , which introduces the applications and service cases of robotics in the fashion and creative industries, as well as the use and architecture of artificial intelligence technologies. Also includes on-site demonstrations of related technologies and products, enabling various sectors in Macau to gain deeper understanding and hands-on experience of the development and potential applications of high-tech industries, inspiring interdisciplinary integration and innovative creation.

The fashion festival also serves as a platform to promote interaction and cooperation of fashion design in the Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao Greater Bay Area. A “Fashion Collection Exhibition by Talent Designers from Greater Bay Area Fashion Institutes” will be set up to showcase collections created by rookie designers from fashion design academies in Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Hong Kong, and Macao. It is believed that through this series of fashion activities, the festival will be able to exhibit Macao’s latest fashion development trends and directions to the outside world. It will be an exciting event that should not be missed.
