Award Ceremony for Sands China Employee Athletic Uniform Design Competition

2015 3 17 Sands China Limited and CPTTM jointly organized a “Sands
China Employee Athletic Uniform Design Competition” to support
local fashion design and to promote the development of the
cultural and creative industry in Macao. After two months of
competition and careful evaluation by the judging panel,
winners were nominated and the award ceremony was held on
17th March 2015 at Venetian Macau.

5 Contestants for this competitions are local fashion designers
and students who have attended the CPTTM Fashion Design

Course. At the end, local fashion designer Wong Chi Leong came

out as the winner. Five other contestants won the Merit Award,

including Leong Iok Pui, Wong Si Ka, Ma Mei Chi, Wang
9 Chengwu, and Teng Lei.

2015 During the competition, the designers needed to create a total
of nine sets of athletic uniforms for Sands China employees,
covering categories such as soccer, basketball, table tennis,
jogging, badminton, bowling, dragon boat, cheerleader, and
Walks for Millions. The winning designs will be adopted as
the employee athletic uniforms of Sands China in 2015, helping
to create a valuable platform to manifest local design talent to
the Macao public. The entries were judged on four criteria,
including creativity and originality, practicality and wearability,
conforming to corporate image, as well as overall aesthetic.
