SPEAKERS	Prof K.C. Ho obtained his BSc degree in Biology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1979. He then studied in the Salford University of United Kingdom for a postgraduate course in Environmental Resources and got a MSc degree in 1980. He began his career by working in the Water Policy Group of the Environmental Protection Department (named as Environmental Protection Agency before April 1986), Hong Kong Government in November 1981. In 1991, he obtained his PhD degree from the University of Hong Kong after three years' part-time studies. Prof Ho left the Hong Kong Government in April 1992. He is now Professor and Programme Leader heading the Environmental Studies Programme of the Open University of Hong Kong.
