Ana Cardoso is a Portuguese born in Macao. At the age of 12, she started
her painting lessons with her mother Mira Dias and her first painting teacher
Fernanda Dias. After a few years, she went under the tutelage of well-known
Macao painter Mio Pang Fei and Un Chi Iam. At the age of 14, she started her
career as a model. Under the influence of art and fashion, Ana went to Lisbon
to study fashion design and obtained her Master Degree in 2010.
At the end of 2010, Ana Cardoso returned to Macao to begin her fashion career,
starting her own fashion brand, Anna Noir. The brand works to express the
individuality of its customers, using minimalistic elegance to create an everlasting,
oriental infused look. The Anna Noir style is a manifestation of the Macao
enclave beauty, blending eastern and western culture into one.
Ana Cardoso is currently working on her latest collection which is inspired by
the looks of the 18th century. Romantic corset constructed the lovely curvature
of a female form while silk pants garnished with laces completed the elegant
and romantic aura of modern females.
